We are a specialist IT advisory team founded by Graham
Nixon and Virginia Brooke in 2001. We focus on answering
strategic and management issues about IT.
We are most often approached by an executive on, or
reporting directly to, the board, when facing a major
business challenge
with substantial IT implications - possibly an acquisition,
a new start-up, or recognition of the need for a step
change in IT performance.
Our clients are typically multinational companies in
business sectors with a high dependency on IT; including
Finance, Consumer Products, Retail and Government.
They are looking for unbiased advice, expressed in
business terms, based on rigorous analysis of the facts
combined with experience of what really works in their
circumstances.
NixonBrooke was formed as an agreed spin-out from KPMG,
with whom we have a licensing arrangement for our methods,
and with whom we continue to work collaboratively for
some clients.
Our goal is to fill the gap between the large solutions
integrators, for whom advisory work is low priority,
and the research analysts who lack the business expertise
to tailor a solution for a particular client need.
